PROGRAM

 

1st DAY Arrival at the airport in Bari, meeting with tour leader/ interpreter. Transfer by bus to Alberobello. Guided visit to the White City of Trulli. Transfer to Locorotondo and lunch in a typical restaurant based on Apulian specialties and local DOC wine. Departure for the Ionian coast in Basilicata and accommodation in ***/**** hotel in Metaponto, Scanzano and Policoro areas; promenade by the sea. Dinner and overnight in hotel;

2nd DAY Breakfast in hotel and departure for Matera, European Capital of Culture 2019 and beginning of Sassi (UNESCO site) guided tour. Visit to the Casa Grotta and to the typical craft shops. Lunch in a typical restaurant, panoramic walk on the Gravina to admire the rocky landscape. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight;

 

3rd DAY  Breakfast and departure for a Magna Graecia archaeological tour: Metaponto, Heraclea. Lunch based on local specialties in a farmhouse in Nova Siri. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight;

 

4th DAY Breakfast and transfer by bus to Bari and departure with a scheduled flight for the return. End of services.

• Supplement per person for transportation by GT car/minivan/minibus/bus with driver available (max 9 hours per day) as scheduled from € 267,00 (a minimum of 2 people paying) to € 135,00 (a minimum of 15 people paying)

• Supplement per person for single room accommodation: € 60,00

• 10 % discount for 3rd person with triple room accommodation

• 20 % discount for 4th person with quadruple room accommodation

• 5 % discount for 1 guided tour and 1 fewer lunch (1st day)
